Sharing published content

All words on this website are my own, unless otherwise specified. I use a mixture of personal images and copyright-free images, and will attempt to credit the latter below. You are more than welcome to quote parts of my words elsewhere, as long as you:

  • include a hyperlink linking back to my homepage, or the post you are quoting from, and

  • include me as author by name [Daniëlle van de Kemenade].

  • You are NOT allowed to copy entire blogposts (unless you have my expressed consent). Doing so messes up the Google algorithm, as it no longer knows who the original publisher of an article may be. The world created you because it wants your experience, not a copy of someone else’s.

  • This isn’t necessary, but I’d appreciate a quick e-mail from you letting me know you’ve shared my content.

Protecting your privacy

To give you full control over what you’d like me to know about you, I don’t connect with (active) clients on social media or “Google” your name. This way, our relationship is shaped only by my interest in and compassion for whatever you feel comfortable sharing during sessions.

When you share any of your personal details (name, address, email) with me (by registering for my newsletter or paying an invoice, for example), these details will remain only with me and won’t be shared. Even though this is an online space, I want it to feel safe, comfortable and secure for you.

If you’ve paid me for a service, your contact details are stored on my computer. These are kept for 10 years in accordance with German tax law, and 7 years in accordance with Dutch taw law.

To better help me support you, I keep short notes about the content of our session and our goals in encrypted, password protected files on my computer. This helps me quickly catch up and not forget anything important. Of course, you are more than welcome to read through these at any time. To be extra sure this doesn’t end up in the wrong hands, please send me a copy of your ID with your signature.

If you’ve subscribed to my mailing list, your contact details are stored on my secure server to occasionally inform you of new columns or other announcements. If you’d like to be removed from my mailing list, you may do so at any point of time by clicking the ‘unsubscribe’ link at the bottom of each newsletter, or by e-mailing me (danielle[at]daniellevandekemenade.com). I want our contact to be an experience of space and calm in your life, not a nuisance.
